Trace mineral analysis (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) is a test which measures the mineral content of your hair. The mineral content of the hair reflects the mineral content of the body’s tissues. If a mineral deficiency or excess exists in the hair, it usually indicates a mineral deficiency or excess within the body, or in some cases bio-unavailability (the body being unable to process the mineral properly). It can also provide pertinent information about one's metabolic rate, energy levels, and stage of stress. A sample of hair cut close to the scalp provides information about the mineral activity in the hair that took place over the past three to four months, depending on the rate of hair growth.
Hair analysis is also a way to detect toxic metals.

What do you receive with this package?
With this package you will receive a hair tissue mineral analysis kit which will be sent for analysis with Mineral Check. Following analysis Mineral Check with provide a report comparing your mineral ratios and levels, any heavy metal imbalances, it also explains results and gives vitamin and mineral supplement recommendations which we then use to help identify the causes of the problem/symptoms you are experiencing. Once the report is received we work together in the consultation to understand the findings of the analysis alongside discussing your physical/mental and emotional symptoms in a 90 minute homeopathic consultation. I will then provide a Homeopathic analysis report, a Homeopathic prescription to aid in the rebalance of your body, while also strengthening your eliminative pathways and gastrointestinal system if necessary during this process.
Homeopathic rebalancing is gentle and supportive of the body and can be tailored to the individuals needs. Instructions of how to take your hair sample are provided alongside the test kit, your hair sample is then sent to Mineral Check for analysis; you will then receive a full report within 3 weeks which will be discussed in full at your homeopathic consultation with me.

Follow-up consultations can be booked to check your rebalancing progress through changes in symptoms and it can be useful, but not necessary to repeat the hair tissue mineral test 6 months later as a way of confirming the changes that have taken place. Many patients don’t feel the need as their symptom improvement is confirmation enough. Costs of the follow-up consultation and repeated hair mineral test are not included in this package price.
